Munich — remote & on-site

Web development and technical integration —carefully planned, cleanly built.

softleb plans, builds and connects digital solutions for independents and small-to-medium businesses. From a new website to the systems behind it — one consistent point of contact, from the first idea to day-to-day operation.

Services

softleb's work spans web development and the systems behind it. The two often meet in the middle — a new website that plugs into existing systems, or a dashboard that finally brings scattered data into one place.

Process

Every project is different — the path to it follows a clear, proven sequence. No agency overhead, fast decisions, one consistent point of contact.

  1. 01

    Conversation

Listen first. We work out the goal, the constraints and the budget — in plain language, without jargon. The result is a shared understanding of what the project should achieve.

  2. 02

    Concept & proposal

I draft the approach, the technology and the timeline, and bring it together in a binding proposal with a fixed scope. You decide on a clear basis.

  3. 03

    Build

Built in short, visible steps. You see a working version early and give feedback as it goes — rather than waiting months on a black box.

  4. 04

    Launch & care

A clean go-live, a clear handover and, on request, maintenance, hosting and further development. A point of contact stays reachable after launch, too.

Fair, market-standard rates. Before a project starts you receive a binding proposal with a fixed scope — no surprises.

About softleb

Behind softleb is Simon Leber — a software engineer with more than seven years of experience building production web applications. From 2018 to 2025 at a Munich software company, responsible among other things for migrating a 250,000-line frontend to modern tooling and building an offline-capable PWA for field service.

Independent since 2025: websites, full-stack products and integration work for independents and small-to-medium businesses. Alongside that, hands-on experience from the family business with photovoltaics and heat pumps — and the software that makes such systems visible and controllable.

What that means for you: you talk to the person who also builds. A direct line, honest assessments, technology without showing off.

FAQ

Answered briefly and directly — what softleb does, how working together looks and what it costs.

  • What does softleb do?

softleb plans, builds and connects websites and software for independents and small-to-medium businesses. The work covers web development — from a company website to a complete full-stack product — and systems integration: interfaces, custom dashboards, automation, and energy and IoT connectivity.

  • Who is behind softleb?

softleb is the one-person practice of Simon Leber, a software engineer based in Munich with more than seven years of experience building production web applications. You talk directly to the person who does the work — a direct line, no agency middle layer.

  • What does a project cost?

Before a project starts you receive a binding proposal with a fixed scope at fair, market-standard rates — with no hidden costs. The exact price depends on scope and requirements and is worked out in a free initial conversation.

  • How does a project work?

In four clear steps: a conversation to define the goal and constraints, a binding concept with a proposal, the build in short visible steps, and finally launch and operation. On request, softleb also handles maintenance, hosting and further development.

  • Does softleb work remotely?

Yes. softleb is based in Munich and handles projects both remotely and on site — across Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as internationally. Enquiries usually receive a reply within one to two business days.

  • What languages does softleb work in?

Projects and communication run in German and English, and the website itself is delivered bilingually.
